History

Since being established in March of 1986 by brothers Gary and Robert Steele, we have grown to serve our customers from a 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on 5 acres centrally located in Conway, Arkansas.

Steele Plastics employees are experienced in fiberglass basin fabrication and wastewater pump system applications allowing our application specialists to use a straightforward, common-sense approach to design with a focus on “Form, Fit, and Function” and the best arrangement of product for the application.

On September 1st, 2022, Robert Steele retired after 36 years of dedicated service to the company he helped build with his brother, Gary. With his retirement, AK Industries, founded in 1981 by brothers John and Butch Sabo, acquired Steele Plastics bringing together two companies with 80 years of combined experience in the fiberglass industry.

With the same commitment and drive instilled in the employees by the Sabo and Steele brothers, we are committed and take pride in serving our customers courteously and professionally, supplying quality and service far above industry standards.
